Gentle Chair Yoga

Happy Friday Yogis!


We have gotten a few requests and inquiries about what is Chair Yoga and how you can participate in one of our classes! We currently offer chair yoga on Fridays at 10:30am to residents of Linea Apartments.


We wanted to give everyone a chance to try this really accessible format at home so one of our amazing teachers, Myla, prepared a routine that you can do in the comfort of your home! And to give you a little more insight, its exactly what it sounds like....Chair Yoga is an adapted form of yoga that makes yoga accessible to everyone. It allows you to modify your yoga practice based on your health, your mobility, and your current ability level. Chair Yoga offers a practice that includes seated poses on the chair and standing poses using the chair for balance and support. So whether you have a bum knee or a bad back or weak wrists that prevent you from getting down on the floor, this practice can keep you moving!
